Bluecode is the European solution for mobile payments. As part of the world's largest payment roaming network, Bluecode enables bank-independent payments via app or scan – for merchants, banks, and consumers.
As part of a multi-month consulting engagement, I supported Bluecode as a marketing consultant in the market penetration of a product-specific mobile payment solution in Austria. The focus was on a clearly defined target group, for which I conducted qualitative market research together with the internal team. This included target group interviews, environmental analyses, and the derivation of concrete conclusions.
On this basis, I developed targeted marketing measures both online and offline. I also took care of the content setup, coordination with external partners, and stakeholder management both internally and with industry associations and the target group itself.
The project brief arose from my previous implementation of a similar project with another well-known mobile payment solution in the Swiss market. I was able to leverage this prior knowledge and make it usable for Bluecode – in a practical, implementable way, and with a focus on sustainable impact.
